Oh the eyes. Remember the old song, 🎼 oh be careful little eyes what you see! Oh be careful little eyes what you see! For your Father up above is watch over you, oh be careful little eyes what you see. 🎼
Since my Carl moved his home to heaven I have fought with this. Can I get real? Intimacy is also visual. God made us so complex. 😁 Hang with me a moment….. I taught my kids to be ever so careful of what we see as it affects our heart and our thinking. There are safe and normal things in the intimacy of marriage, but should never be used or allowed outside of it. Think of it as a caged animal, it serves the purpose in the zoo, not in the random places outside. Those animals were built for a specific habitat.
My hubby and I would share in butterfly kisses. You know, when you get so close your eye lashes would flutter on their skin. Some people do this with their kids. It was a moment in time that would reach our hearts. We wanted our married lives to be God first, then each other. We shared a wonderful 24 years. By no means perfect, but we worked together.
