Whispers of Snow in Spring

Psssssttttt…… Winter is still here, hanging on with all the muster a dying season can breathe

Psssssttttt…… Winter is still here, hanging on with all the muster a dying season can breathe. The white beautiful puffy gently falling snow insists on still coming down. Coating the cold and muddy ground with the most beautifl white stillness, the gentle falling of snow lands. The ground does not question why when it only wants to push the budding seed from the depths long burried.

It’s been almost a full year since I last posted. I am sure I’ve lost some followers..maybe this will be a surprise in your inbox. In the last year, I have moved two more times. I am back in Michigan. I am fighting to follow where God is taking me. SHHHHH….it is a secret….even for me…. I still don’t know the where and the whys of what God is doing in me or with me.

I am still a widow. I am still cast a drift like the falling snow in spring. I do not know my place, I do not know what to do. I will keep pushing forward. I have made progress in many things. I am fighting to finish one big task. This task seems so large. I don’t know if I can..in fact, I can’t — however — God Can through me. One step — Starts the journy of a life time —One snowflake — can make a mound of snow so big!

The whispers from the corner they jear at me. Just like I jear at the spring snow. “you don’t belong here!” “are you lost?” “Why are you here when all I want is summer?” “What good is it having you here?”

Oh boy Oh boy– hold on to your whispers — God’s Holy Spirit whispers back at me…time and time and time again…

Exodus 14:13 “Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today.”

2 Corinthians 5:7 “We live by faith, not by sight”

let me lean in and listen, one more time, to the whispers that come from the God who created me and loves me (and you) more then you or I will ever know.

So much has happened in over a year.. I only hope I can post all the amazing things that God is doing. People listen….listen to the gentle whisper of snow in the sping…listen to the gentle voice reaching out.

  1. So good to see you writing again Wendy! I know you are following God’s path and I know how confusing and puzzling it can be but you are a woman of great faith. Just remember what it says in Jeremiah 29:11 about how God knowing what the plans for us are. As long as we follow His plans we are blessed.
